ART5138 was created on October 31, 2015, to enhance the literary opportunities for VISUAL PHENOMENA FINE ART & DESIGN STUDIO through an online presentation as a blog. To that end, this effort.
My name is Jeffrey Pergament and I am a professional multi-media artist, certified secondary school educator and retired front-line government official. As the days unfold, I will post my creative writing and other creative expressions on this blog.
I also maintain several web sites that present my artwork, my creative services and my autobiographical information. Feel free, please, to visit me at any of the following web addresses:
I also administer another WordPress blog – http://www.visualjeff.wordpress.com about contemporary world affairs.
This video came to be after my participation as a “digital influencer” at the Global Oval Summit during the 2016 DNC in Philadelphia. My music video features some of my original paintings and photographs, and the original songs (words and music) of Keith A. Forman, BMI songwriter and bandleader for LIQUIDISLAND, an original American rock band. The soundtrack songs include BODY AND SPIRIT and YOU PROMISED ME. The songs are repeated throughout the video. All music is used with express permission of Keith A. Forman. All work copyright 2018 by VISUAL PHENOMENA which represents both Jeff Pergament and Keith Forman in this regard.
The next video is a longer animated documentary music video that features popular songs used under Section 107 of the Copyright Act 1976, allowance is made for “fair use” for purposes such as criticism, comment, news reporting, teaching, scholarship, and research. Fair use is a use permitted by copyright statute that might otherwise be infringing. Non-profit, educational or personal use tips the balance in favor of fair use.
Please note the following: this video contains my original photographs and paintings, as well as other artwork, including “appropriated” edited artwork, and pre-recorded music available online. All rights remain with each respective artist and/or performer. These are the songs used in the order of usage for the soundtrack:
Jeff Buckley – Hallelujah
Basta – Mama I’m A Criminal
“What is Human Existence?” (Narrative voice-over)
Old time guitar and bass – instrumental
Johann Strauss – Vienna Waltz
Jeff Buckley – Hallelujah (again)
Amy Macdonald – This Is The Life
